Terms of Service
Signholio is operated by Scoreholio Inc. and shares one account with it. The Scoreholio Terms of Service and Code of Conduct govern your use of Signholio in full, and are incorporated here by reference.
This page adds one term that is specific to displaying video on screens. Everything else — ownership, prohibited uses, warranties, liability, indemnification, arbitration, governing law, and the copyright and DMCA policy — lives in the full Terms and is not repeated here.
Video and streaming
Additional Video Streaming Clause: If you use the Service, including any tournament dashboards, digital signage, or court displays, to stream, display, or embed third-party video content (including but not limited to YouTube embeds, HLS/M3U8 streams, or live broadcast feeds):
You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary public performance licenses, commercial display rights, and permissions required by law to broadcast that content in a public or commercial establishment.
Scoreholio acts solely as a passive display tool. We do not provide, endorse, or verify the licensing of any third-party video feeds configured by users. You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless Scoreholio from any claims of copyright infringement or unlicensed public performance arising from your video configurations.
What this means in practice
Signholio will display a video address you give it. It does not check who owns that video, and it cannot tell whether you are licensed to show it on a screen in a bar. That judgment is yours, and it is the reason the clause above exists.
There are plenty of straightforward cases — an organizer streaming their own league night, footage you shot, or stock video you hold a licence for. There are also cases that are not straightforward, and showing broadcast content in a commercial venue usually needs a commercial subscription and, where music is involved, separate performing-rights licences. If you are unsure, assume you need permission.
